If you have been around Living Hope for the past 4-5 years you have probably heard us talk about the Holy Spirit and about our need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Have you ever wondered what that means?  Have you ever wondered why you need the Holy Spirit?  Have you ever wondered who the Holy Spirit really is?

For many years I wondered about the Holy Spirit.   I grew up going to church and heard references to the Holy Spirit, but never really understood why the Holy Spirit was important.  My Bible College experience helped me to understand who the Holy Spirit is, but it didn’t answer all my questions.  For a long time I wondered how I could be filled with the Holy Spirit and how I would know if I was.  Throughout all my years of wondering I longed to know and experience more of the Holy Spirit.  Maybe you have experienced something similar?

This weekend we are starting a new teaching series that is focused on answering the questions we all have about the Holy Spirit.  For the next four weeks we’ll be exploring why the Holy Spirit is important, who the Holy Spirit really is, what the Holy Spirit does, and how you can be filled with the Holy Spirit today.  I hope you’ll join us this weekend as we discover the Forgotten Spirit and the Spirit-filled life Jesus envisions for each of us to live.

Holy Spirit Encounter for Kids
