Have you ever tried to mend a broken relationship and failed?
For the last several weeks we’ve been talking about reconciliation and how we can bring healing to the broken relationships in our lives and our world. Mending broken relationships isn’t easy; sometimes even though we are making all the right choices and leaning into reconciliation, we can still fail to mend the relationship. This weekend we are going to look at why this is, why reconciliation sometimes fails.
I hope you’ll join us this Sunday as we explore the story of a man named Jacob, and find out about the attitude or mindset that we need to have if we are to become reconciled people. We’ll be exploring Genesis 32, the story of Jacob’s attempt to reconcile with his brother. Together we’ll discover an important truth, that the right attitude can lead to reconciliation while the wrong attitude just wastes time.
See you Sunday,
Pastor Kirk
