What does Christmas mean to you?

What does Christmas mean to you? Christmas means different things to different people. For some it is the promise that family will be together, around one table (or multiple tables in the same room…hopefully you aren’t still at the kids table). For others it is the promise of presents under a tree and maybe that one special present you have been waiting for. Still for others, Christmas is the promise of a break and an end to a very busy, challenging year.  What does Christmas mean to you?

While Christmas can mean many different things, Christmas is ultimately a promise.  Christmas is a promise God made to you and me a long time ago.

This weekend we will begin a new series called “The Promise of Christmas.” In this series we will explore the promise that God made to us through Christmas, and the hope that His promise makes for the coming year. I hope you’ll join us as we look at Matthew 1:18-25 and the promise of a name. Together we will look at the familiar story of Joseph, and the promise contained in the name given to Joseph for a child that was not his.

See you Sunday,

Pastor Kirk

PS…we will have two surprises for you this Sunday. First, we will be introducing our new Youth & Young Adult Pastor. Second, all who attend our in-person gathering will receive a hand-crafted Christmas ornament.  Hope to see you there!

Christmas Eve is Coming! (New Times)
Join us this Christmas Eve at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm for a worship gathering for the whole family to enjoy. Between the services, there will be a COVID friendly Christmas party with activities for kids and, if the weather permits, hot apple cider outside around a fire. We hope you’ll join us for this very special evening.

New Year, New Changes
Beginning December 26, we will only be offering one in-person worship gathering, at 10:30 am every Sunday.  Beginning January 2, PrayFirst will begin at 9:30 am every Sunday.

MidWeek will be back in 2022
MidWeek is taking a break for Christmas, and will return on Wednesday January 12 with programs for kids, youth, and adults. For adults, Pastor Kirk will be leading a three-week study on Ephesians 4:1-16; we will explore what it means to be an Ephesians 4 leader.
