What are you doing for Christmas? That’s the question we usually ask each other at this time of year. Our responses are filled with talk of gatherings and travel, presents and possibilities. Usually, this time of year is filled with hope and excitement for Christmas Day, but this year feels different, doesn’t it? It looks like this Christmas is going to be very different than last year.
Each year I think,” How are we going to top last year?” Every December I try to figure out how to make this Christmas the best Christmas ever, but I’m not sure that’s possible this year. Is it even possible that this could be the best Christmas Ever?
This December we are exploring what makes a great Christmas and how, even in the midst of a pandemic, this could be the best Christmas ever. I hope you’ll join us this coming Sunday as we look at the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth in Luke 1:5-25 and together discover how to find hope even when things haven’t turned out as you expected.
See you Sunday,
Pastor Kirk
