Do you think of yourself as a leader?

Sometimes we associate a particular role or task with being a leader. Sometimes we associate a particular set of characteristics or strengths with being a leader.  And sometimes the last person we consider to be a leader is ourselves.

This Sunday is Summit Sunday and we’ll be looking at someone who didn’t consider themselves a leader, but who God knew was the right person to lead the people of Israel.  Using a talk from The Global Leadership Summit in 2016, Danielle Strickland will be leading us in looking at Judges 6:11-24.  Together we’ll discover how to be the leader God created us to be.

This Sunday we will also be introducing the speaker line-up for this fall’s Global Leadership Summit and the Scripture that this years Summit is built around.

I hope you are planning to join us as we talk about leadership, because if you have influence with just one person, then you are leader.

We are happy to introduce to you Michaela Peterson who joins the Living Hope staff as the summer student in Kids Ministry. Michaela, originally from Swift Current, is a student at U of R and has worked with children in her home. She’ll be on staff from May 8 to August 25. Welcome, Michaela!
