Here’s what’s happening with Living Hope for the week beginning May 3, 2020.
Hope @ Home
During this period of social and physical distancing, we want to help your faith continue to thrive at home. Our pastors are working to produce materials and opportunities to connect you with God and with your church family aside from our Sunday worship gathering. Each week we will be posting materials on social media and we will be hosting various live events using YouTube or Zoom. Please feel free to pick and choose the materials and connections points that work with your schedule and your personality. We won’t be offended if you skip an event or ignore our posts, we just want to help you connect in this time of isolation and distancing.
- Mystery Monday – Spiritual challenges for the whole family on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Kindness Tuesday – Stories of kindness to encourage your soul on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Worship Wednesday – Live worship with Pastor Eric on Facebook and YouTube
- Thoughtful Thursday – Prompts for prayer on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Fun Fridays – Crafts, reading and fun ways to connect with God at home on Facebook

In these uncertain times, we are here to help. If you need help with getting groceries or essentials because you are in quarantine or have lost your job please contact Pastor Colin.
Worship Gathering Online Only
In light of the recent COVID-19 Pandemic and provincial requirements that public and private gatherings be limited to 10 people or less, we will be holding our weekly worship gathering online only. Our worship gatherings will begin at 10:30 am on Sunday on YouTube and our website. If you have a SmartTV or AppleTV with the YouTube App you can use the app to tune in by searching for “Living Hope Regina.”. Otherwise, point your web browser to live.mylivinghope.ca.
PrayFirst Online
At 9:30 every Sunday morning one of our pastors will be hosting an online Prayer Gathering called PrayFirst. This is an interactive prayer time that lasts for 30 minutes. You can join via YouTube or Zoom (email Pastor Daniel for the Zoom invite).
Wondering how to give?
The easiest way to give to Living Hope during this time is by visiting our online giving page. If you’d rather give cash or cheque please contact Pastor Kirk who will come and pick up your gift (he’ll call you when he arrives and you can leave it outside your front door for him to pick up).
Our Mailing Address Please note that our mailing address and our new physical address are the same – 3800 Green Falls Drive, Regina, SK S4V 3T6

Coffee with Kirk
Join Pastor Kirk on May 3 at 7 pm as he hosts a coffee time using Zoom. You bring the coffee, and Kirk will send you a Zoom invite. Kirk will be discussing the impact COVID-19 is having on Living Hope and how we are adapting to ministries as a result. Please register online to receive details on the Zoom call.
Communion In our morning service on May 10, we will be reflecting on the sacrifice Jesus made for each of us. We will be remembering Jesus’ sacrifice by participating in communion. Please prepare by having juice/wine and bread ready to partake.
The Return of MidWeek, Virtually
On Wednesday, April 22, we brought MidWeek back via Zoom. MidWeek is an opportunity for children, teens and adults to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Each Wednesday, kids in Kindergarten to Grade 6 will meet from 6:00 to 6:45 pm and grades 7 to 12 will meet from 7 to 9 pm. MidWeek is an opportunity to connect with friends and learn about Jesus. Virtual gatherings will take place over a secure, password-protected, session of Zoom. To connect your child or teen with one of these gatherings, please email Pastor Shauna for the kids gathering or Pastor Daniel for the teen gathering. Beginning May 5, Pastor Colin will also be offering something for adults; more information is included under the next heading.
Art of Neighbouring Study // May 5 – June 9 // 6:30 pm Do you want to learn more about loving your neighbours? Join Pastor Colin and Kristi for a six week online study through “The Art of Neighbouring” by Jay Pathak and Dave Runyon. Participants will need to obtain a copy of the book to get the whole experience. Send an email to Pastor Colin for more details and the zoom room code.
Communion @ Your Door The Lord’s Table is a blessing for the church to show solidarity and to remember all that Jesus has done for us. It is a symbol of unity and family. During this time of social distancing, we would like to make it possible for you to have communion delivered to your door. Contact Pastor Colin if you would like to use this service.
