Anger is a tricky emotion. Most of the time we think that anger is bad; it causes us to do mean and damaging things to others, but is that always the case? Is anger always a bad thing? Perhaps the deeper question is if anger is always sinful. This is an important question, and the answer will shape how we deal with our anger. Some of us might feel trapped by anger, others might be tired of trying to keep it below the surface. What if I told you that sin didn’t have to control your life? What if I told you that anger might not even be the problem? This week we are going to take a close look at Ephesians 4:25-27 to see what scripture has to say about the role anger plays in our lives and how we can manage it in healthy, productive ways.

Prayer Summit
Join us on Sunday February 26 at 7 pm as we wrap up our month of prayer and fasting by gathering to listen to God. Come with your family and/or your group and enjoy a time of drawing close to God through music, prayer and communion.
Annual General Meeting
Our Annual General Meeting is on Sunday, March 12. A detailed look at our finances will take place at 9 am in the Vista Room. We will have lunch together after the service (suggested donation $5 or $20 per family) with the annual meeting to follow at 12:45 pm in the auditorium. This is a great opportunity to hear about what God is doing and where he is leading us as a church family. We hope you will join us! Annual Reports will be available March 5.
We Are Hiring
We are hiring a caretaker to work approximately 20 hours per week, primarily in evenings and on weekends. You will report to the Director of Operations and will perform regular custodial duties as assigned by the Lead Custodian. Regular duties include sweeping, vacuuming, polishing, washing floors, walls, furniture, light fixtures and removing waste from the building. As you will be in contact with many facility renters, you should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work independently and discreetly in a multifaceted environment.
