Power-Full Faith

Big Idea: Faith is powerful. Your faith can do powerful things in the life of your friends when you act in Jesus’ name. Your faith can do Power-Full thing when its focused on Christ.
Getting to Know Each Other (Start Here):
- What is the best job you ever had? What is the worst?
Going Deeper:
- Are you defined by your love for Jesus? How do we act that demonstrates this love?
- What about Jesus intrigues you?
- Are there people around you with needs and you don’t know how you can help them?
- Jesus has put you right where you are to make a difference. What does He want you to do?
- Have you heard the saying “to some people, you are the only Jesus that they will ever see?” What does that mean for you as you interact with co-workers, neighbors, and maybe even family who are far from God?
- When we ask Jesus to increase our faith, what is our responsibility in letting Jesus increase our faith?
How are you working to increase your faith? - Read Matthew 5:43-48. How does choosing who we show love to display the Gospel to those around you?
- Faith results in action (obedience). Do your daily actions proclaim your faith? How?
- Are you convinced that Jesus is the only hope for those around you? How does that change the way you interact with your circle of influence?
Apply it:
- Sometimes it is really hard to step out in boldness and share Jesus with those who are far from God. What do you find most difficult when sharing your faith? Spend some time praying over one another for boldness and faith to be a light in dark places.
Spend time praying for and with each other. (If you are comfortable allow moments of silence to linger to hear from God).
