Have you ever wondered how to follow clues? Recently I was in an escape room. If you’ve never heard of an escape room this is a very fun event where a business creates a room you must escape from. There are clues, puzzles, and problems you must solve, each leading you to the next clue. Can you do it? Can you chase the clues till the final solution and be known as champion over the escape room? It is exciting and fun.
We had many people in our room, probably 10. I felt like they all knew so much more than I did. I could find a clue but I could not understand what it wanted me to do. Someone else would grab my clue and be able to interpret it and lead us to yet another clue. We chased each solution until we found our way to the next clue. Quietly each person asked the question, “What does the clue mean?” One clue – to the next – to the next – to the next. It was exciting! It was also frustrating!
Does this remind you of something? Have you ever wondered how to get God to answer your request? What about the clues? Why is it so hard? Have you ever wondered why some people talk about God and his ways of changing their lives, but sometimes you wonder if God even hears your cry? What are the clues? One clue to the next. Come this Sunday and hear more.

Baptism Sunday
Have you been baptized? Baptism is a defining moment in the life of a Jesus follower. It is the moment when you declare publicly that you’ve committed yourself to following Jesus’s way of living. If you’d like to learn more about baptism and/or be baptized, join Pastor Peter on Sunday, May 6th at 9 am. There will be an opportunity to be baptized during the May 27th service.
Prayer Summit
Join us Sunday April 29th at 7 pm as we learn and pray together as a family. This month our 60 minute Prayer Summit will feature active experiences that will teach that prayer can be more that just sitting silently with our eyes closed. This is a great opportunity for families to learn and practice talking with God together in a fun and meaningful way.
