Children’s Ministry Announcement
We are excited to announce that we have hired Karen Gatschene as our Children’s Ministry Director. Together with Pastor Shauna, she will give leadership to the children’s ministry team on Sundays, during MidWeek and in our Day Camps. Please join us in welcoming Karen to the staff team. Karen begins her role on June 20, 2022.

Board of Elders Nominations
Each year our Nominating Committee nominates members to fill the vacancies on our Board of Elders. According to our constitution, new Elder nominee names may be submitted to the membership for a ballot vote at the Annual General Meeting (September 25, 2022) for each Elder vacancy. This year our process will provide an opportunity for the membership to suggest names of potential Elders to our Nominating Committee for consideration. Such names must be submitted in writing, supported by the signature of two other members and delivered to the Chair of the Nominating Committee (Pastor Kirk) by June 30, 2022. All potential Elder nominees must be members in good standing for at least one year.

Graduation is a significant milestone in life. If you or someone you know who is a part of the Living Hope family and is graduating high school, please let us know by June 5 so we can support and encourage them in this next stage of their life.

Jerusalem Marketplace (Kids Camp) Help Needed // August 15-19

Help Needed in Kids Min!
As more people return on Sundays, we are excited to welcome kids of all ages back to church! This means lots of activity and fun in our classrooms; however, it also means we need extra hands each week. If you are available to work with kids, please contact Pastor Shauna at shauna@mylivinghope.ca.

Reading through the Bible in 2022
Join us in 2022 as we read through the entire Bible in a year. We’ll provide you with 5 readings consisting of 2-4 passages each week. Readings are linked to weekdays which allows you the weekend to catch up if you fall behind. You can download the complete reading plan or watch the bulletin each week for this week’s readings.

• June 6 – Proverbs 3-5, Romans 10
• June 7 – Proverbs 6-7, Psalm 7, Romans 11
• June 8 – Proverbs 8-10, Psalm 144, Romans 12

Church Family Lunch // June 12
Be sure to mark your calendar and plan to join us for lunch on June 12! We invite the whole church family to stay for a BBQ hamburger/hot dog lunch after church on that Sunday. This is a great way to meet new people and build friendships! The suggested donation is $5/person or $20/family. Hope to see you there!

Jerusalem Marketplace (Kids Camp) // August 15-19
Kids, want to go to Jerusalem and walk the streets where Jesus walked? Then join us this summer for our Jerusalem Marketplace Bible school, every morning from August 15-19 as we learn about the life of Jesus. Please click here to register and tell your friends!

PrayFirst // Sundays // 9:30 AM
Our mission at Living Hope is to become what Jesus envisions, and that begins with listening to Him and seeking His will. This is why we meet every Sunday at 9:30 am for PrayFirst. PrayFirst is a guided time of corporate prayer where we pray for each other, our church, our city, and the world. Join us as we watch God move powerfully through prayer and learn new ways to deepen your prayer life.

Call to Prayer // Wednesdays // 8:00 am – 10:00 am
Jesus said God’s house should be a place of prayer for all nations (Mark 11:17). The church auditorium will be open every Wednesday morning from 8:00 am – 10:00 am to provide a space to pray for the concerns of our world and community. Join us as we spend time with the Lord, boldly approaching the throne of grace in our time of need (Hebrews. 4:16) before going to work or starting your day’s activities.

MidWeek // Wednesday Evenings
Youth continues into June and begins at 6:30. The last youth midweek is June 15. Kids programs and adult classes are on break through the summer.
