Prayer Ministry

The ministry of prayer for the church as a whole and for individuals within the church is one of the key ministries of the Board of Elders.

The Elders have prayed for a number of individuals within the congregation in recent weeks/months.  If you would like to have the elders pray for you, please contact Pastor Kirk. The elders would be honoured to stand with you in prayer. 

Refugee Sponsorship Policy

The Board adopted a policy regarding Refugee Sponsorship.  The Elders would consider a request for refugee sponsorship if there was a group of interested individuals in the church who were willing to take responsibility for all aspects of the refugee sponsorship process, and if the refugee family had passed the due diligence screening process as developed by the Board of Elders.  The final decision would be made by the Board, providing all the criteria had been met.

Cuba – Going Beyond

The Board of Elders approved sending $2500 to Curtis Peters to be used for Leadership Development in Cuba.

Eldership and Membership

The board had a good discussion related to what Eldership and Membership look like at Living Hope as we move forward. 

Seamless Link Agreement
The Board approved a new Seamless Link Agreement with international workers R & B.  The Agreement will be formally signed in an upcoming Sunday morning service.
