“…I will pour out my Spirit upon all of you! Your sons and daughters will prophesy; your old men will dream dreams, and your young men see visions.” Joel 2:28
In a day and age when we are hearing so much about different age groups, with different life values, it is so refreshing to live out this verse because the Spirit of God is poured out upon all of us as we serve together. What are some of those dreams and visions that we are experiencing?
As announced this past Sunday – our team has come together with Shauna Archer as Children and Family Pastor, and Daniel Ngo who will come later this fall as our Youth Pastor. We have prayed and God has been faithful in giving us even more than we can imagine. Great things are in store as these Spirit-filled servants lead in these ministries. It is a great time for others to come alongside and be part of the action.
There was a visionary spirit in the annual general meeting a few weeks ago. You will want to mark SUNDAY, MARCH 25th, 2018 on your calendar as we continue to reflect on the 5-year plan God has given us as a “life and hope-filled” church. - Monday, June 19 at 7 pm at the home of Ed & Lynda Beggs
- Saturday, April 29 at 8:30 am at Church (breakfast included)
- Saturday, June 10 at 8:30 am at Church (breakfast Included)
To facilitate the realization of these dreams and visions, various Board subcommittees have been established. They include Property Development, Finance, Membership, and Board Development. These committees will assist the Board in fulfilling its responsibilities.
Working together as the Spirit leads us toward common visions and dreams is exciting. Let’s keep looking up and moving forward.
