News & Announcements

Worship Gatherings Online Only
In light of the rising number of COVID19 cases and recent public health orders restricting gatherings to 30 people in places of worship, we have chosen to suspend in-person worship gatherings and offer our worship gatherings online only.  Living Hope’s worship gatherings will be online only from November 29 to January 3

Please join us online at 10:30 am at live.mylivinghope.ca.  If you have a SmartTV or AppleTV with the YouTube App you can tune in by searching for Living Hope Regina.

If you happen to miss our live worship gatherings, they are available on demand at mylivinghope.ca (use this as the link: https://www.mylivinghope.ca/category/messages/). You can choose to watch individual sermons or the full replay of a service.

Christmas Eve Service // Dec 24 // on-demand  at mylivinghope.ca
Gather the whole family and celebrate Christmas Eve from the comfort of your own home. This year’s Christmas Eve service will be offered on-demand, available when you are. Join together with family and friends and discover how this can be the best Christmas ever!  This year’s Christmas Eve gathering will feature a lighthearted parody of the COVID season, familiar carols, a special message, and a virtual choir performance of Silent Night.

Gift Bags for Arcola Community School
Once again, during this season of giving, we are partnering with Arcola Community School to prepare gift bags for children who may not otherwise receive a gift this Christmas. We have 4 target age groups: Boys 4-7, Boys 8-12, Girls 4-7, and Girls 8-12. For a list of possible items, how to prep the gift bag, and where to drop off, click here. Thank you for your kindness and generosity! Questions? Please call the church at 306.352.4673 or email info@mylivinghope.ca.
Donations must be received by Monday, December 7 at 4 pm.

Christmas Lane at Living Hope – We are Looking for Lights and Decorations
This Christmas is going to be different, but we still want to spread the joy of the season! We are putting together a large drive-thru light display for the community, using the front of Living Hope as a backdrop. To do so, we need to borrow a lot of Christmas lights, decorations, and extension cords. If you can lend us something for the weekend, we would appreciate it!

We need these items to be dropped off no later than December 15. We will be setting up the display on December 16 -17.
The display will be open the evenings of December 18 – 20. Do you have questions? Can you help with set up on December 16-17? Will you join a host team for an evening on December 18, 19, or 20? Please email Pastor Colin.

Video Editors Needed
Do you like editing videos? Hope Kids needs your help! Our rockstar media volunteers can barely keep up with all the new material we have been creating this year – we are looking for more people to join them! If you are interested in helping to make our ‘Big Idea’ videos happen or working on other projects we have on the docket, we’d love to hear from you! Email Chandra for more info.

Updated Guidelines from the Health Authority
As required by Public Health Orders, masks must be worn at all times while you are in Living Hope’s facility.

The church office is open Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 4 pm.

Spiritual Gifts Class // Tuesdays, Jan 5 – 26 // 7 pm – 9 pm
Gift giving is a big part of our Christmas celebrations, but did you know that God has given you gifts that are better than a Tesla, PS5 or an Apple Watch? We call them the Gifts of the Spirit, and every Christian has at least one. What are they? Why do we need them? Whose are they? How are we supposed to use them during a pandemic? Join Pastor Colin for 4 weeks of interactive online learning and dive deeper into how God is building us up to be the Body of Christ (1 Cor 12:27). To register click here

Kairos Course // Thursdays // Jan 7 – Mar 4 // 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
The Kairos Course is a foundational discipleship course about God’s mission in the world. It develops the major biblical theme of God’s heart for all the nations – both globally and in the neighbourhood – and His desire to use His people to be a blessing to them. Join Pastor Shauna and others on Thursday nights, starting Jan 7, for a powerful, interactive experience that will change your worldview. For registration info, email shauna@mylivinghope.ca.
