PeopleCare Team

We want to create a PeopleCare Team who will assist by visiting seniors, people in hospital, and shut-ins. If you would like to be a member of this team, please talk with Pastor Kirk.

Men’s Class begins November 11 at 9:00 am

Wayne Bernakevitch will be leading a men’s class. Today they will meet in Rm C211. In the following weeks, the class will be in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Young Adult Night – November 11, 6 pm

Do you like board games? Do you like salty or sweet treats? All young adults are welcome to come for board games, home-baked treats, and fellowship at the Aroma Cafe (aka the church foyer) on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at 6 pm. If you are 18-30 years old and want to try a new board game or just be in the ‘aroma’ of good people, come on out! Additionally – we will be streaming the Grey Cup game on November 25. You won’t want to miss a second of the action!

50+ Christmas Supper – November 23, 6 pm

You are invited to the 50+ Christmas dinner on November 23 at 6pm. Shirley Dufour will share her music and testimony. Cost is $15. Tickets are available from Agnes Reimer in the lobby today and November 18.

Dessert Night Auction – November 24

Need a mouth-watering pie or decadent cake for Grey Cup Sunday? Join us on Saturday, November 24 at 7pm for the Dessert Night Auction. All funds raised will help to cover expenses for the Interwoven Missions Team who will travel overseas in February.

Connect Lunch – November 25

Join us on November 25 after church for good food and conversation. Cost is a donation to the Interwoven Missions Team. Reserve your spot online at mylivinghope.ca.

Newcomers’ Lunch – December 9

Are you new to Living Hope? Join us for lunch after the service on
Sunday, December 9. You will meet other newcomers as well as our leaders and volunteers. RSVP to info@mylivinghope.ca so we can prepare a spot for you and your family.

Soul Care Conference – November 29-December 1

Do you want to go deeper in relationship with God? Join us for our Soul Care Conference on November 29, 30, and December 1. This full-day conference will teach you 7 soul care principles that will enable you to experience the fullness of the Gospel that Jesus teaches.  For more information or to register, visit the church website.
