Have you ever had to introduce someone?

Recently my wife, Britton, attended a training seminar. At the start of the first session everyone was paired up and asked to introduce the person they were paired with.  In order to introduce the person my wife was paired with, she first had to learn some things about them.  Britton’s partner told her some things about herself and then Britton relayed that information to the group.   Britton told the group her partner’s name, where they worked, and used a story and descriptive words to give the group some insight into her partner’s life.

This weekend we are going to do something like this.  Don’t worry, I’m not going to ask you to turn to your neighbour and find out some information and then stand up and introduce your neighbour to the church…although, maybe next week…jk.

This weekend we are beginning a new series and we are going to introduce you to Jesus.  Over the coming weeks we are going to explore 7 statements Jesus made about himself and discover what insights these statements give us about who Jesus is and what He wants for us today.  I hope you’ll join us throughout this series as we explore the “I am” statements Jesus made.  This Sunday Mandy Ralph will be kicking off our series by looking at John 6 and what Jesus meant when he said, “I am the bread of life.”
