- Share with the group about your practice of Scripture reading. How and when do you read the Bible?
- What do you think might happen if you were to increase your Bible reading habit, even by reading a few more verses each time or by adding another day? What step might you take to accomplish this increase? What help might you need in order to take this step?
- Pastor Tim talked about the theology of Illumination – The Holy Spirit’s guidance in Scripture reading. How have you seen this work in your own Scripture reading?
- Ask who is willing to take the challenge to read one chapter of the book of Mark each day for the next 16 days. For those who would like to try, create a way to connect and encourage each other over that time. For those who aren’t able to commit, no worries – bless them in Jesus’ name!
