2. Have you ever built something with your hands using clay, wood, paint, etc.? What was it and what inspired you to create/form it?

Discuss:

1. Read Gal 4:19 and take a moment to listen to Holy Spirit’s voice. Re-read the passage again. What stands out to you in this verse?
2. Pastor Tim talked about Spiritual Formation. How would you define it?
3. Pastor Tim talked about Spiritual formation beginning with our identity using Gal 4:1-7. Why is it important to start with identity?
4. Read Gal 4:1-7. Are there areas of your life that you struggle to believe this to be true?
5. Are there areas of your life that do not reflect your identity in Christ?
6. Why is being formed in the image of Christ a process? In what ways do we undermine the process? In what ways do we encourage the process?
7. Where do you need to give space for this process? (i.e. I’m impatient and just want results now. I need to be OK with things not being OK.)
8. How is God forming you today? What areas of your life is God working on?
9. End with a prayer of gratitude that you are all on this journey of formation together.
