- Can you recall a time when you lost the wonder and awe of who Jesus is?
- The book of Hebrews begins without any introduction or greetings. It simply states two key assumptions in the first few words – God is and God has spoken.
- Where else in Scripture do we see this same type of beginning to a book of the Bible? (Hint – think last week’s sermon!)
- How does God speak to all people? (Romans 1:18-23)
- List ‘various ways’ God spoke or revealed Himself in the Old Testament.
- How does God speak to you personally?
- What does it mean to you that God now has spoken supremely and finally through His Son? (Luke 9:35) What should you start doing because of this truth? What should you stop doing?
- In the light of the chaos we live in today, what impact should it have on our daily lives and choices that Jesus actually upholds everything by His power?
- Considering Jesus is the agent of creation, what situations (past or present) do you need Him to re-create/transform/redeem? Are you willing to commit these to His care and leadership?
- Jesus asked His disciples in Matthew 16:15, “Who do you say that I am?”. This is most important question we will ever answer in life.
